Well LA was a blast and highly successful. We are working with Universal Studios for post production on Death Tattoo.

This is year three for me on this project. The first time in my Artistic career to have a project development last for years... man am i going to find a small island somewhere when this one is in the can.

I have to say that the department heads at Universal in LA are amazingly kind and generous people and we are looking forward to working with them.

Well development has ended and we are into pre production.. off to LA this week for talks with Universal Studios, Amazon Entertainment, bla blah,

It's pimp the dog tiime.. LOL

Reinhard is my 1st AD, Sue is Producer, Music Supervisor, Lara is dialogue, acting coach.

Times are great.....sorry my post have not been regularly but I spend most of my time having fun working.....on D-tat... all goes as scheduled we will be in production Aug/Sept. Sundance and Berlinale.

Have been accepted in two film festivals Santa Fe and Ashland without shooting a frame... so I guess things are EXCELLENT.

So until there we have our website up this is it....

Hey everyone Im in Santa Fe with a single mother Kelly who just informed me she can have it all... making eggs emailing and twittering all at the same time.

Got financing on the run its D Tat is on its way.... jean Pierre and I will be loading an official Deat Tattoo webiste in Dec with a teaser and more.. where you can follow production and get regular updates.
Raoul Trujilllo has just signed on to play Santos our preformance dance Shaman....so keep up let me hear from you.

Hey well the trip to Texas was a blast and the water in South Padre warm. The seafood was amazing we foung the one place that was King of the Shrimp Cook Off. Amazing. No other word for it. My sister and niece traveled on to Brownsville to the Gladys Porter Zoo. Its degraded since i was last there but still a nice enviroment. OH, OH, HAVING AN EXHIBIT OF MY WORK AT COMMUNITY 7 IN ABQ THIS SUNDAY. As for Death Tattoo, I met and am talking with a couple different VP's for Sony Image Works and Revelations Films. It's an education and so much fun. I'm frustrated a lot because i want things to happen when i want them to happen.. LOL in Hollywood and Albuturkeywood. That's a joke. Once i got past the urge to dislocate the egos of many of the wanna be's here, its all moving again. I am a wannabe and what's the big deal. So was Richard Branson at one point.Anyways will up load photos soon of the event and if the interview in The Magazine truely takes place i'll post the cover and aritcle.

Hey everyone... sorry it has been so long. Things are in a hold pattern here. I have a producer who i really want to work with but he is head deep in a Malkevich film and i am circling in a hold pattern, so i spend and inordinate amount of time these days entertaining myself... which i have a lot of practice with. LOL....

So, I am spending the time collecting a fantastic crew here in NM. My intention is to have a crew 100% based in NM... bringing in principle actors as we find them, and I have managed to enroll an impressive crew at that.

Personally i am dating again.. which is fun and interesting.

Headed to Merida Mexico for a week and then we should be in preproduction ( true preproduction ) in june, JUly 4th at the latest.

Adding another section of my tattoo tomorrow.... on the shoulder.

The weather here is amazing. Absolutely glorious.

My sister and niece are visiting from Texas... yikesssssssssssss.... thank god we like each other.. :) WEll that SUMS IT UP FOR THE MOMENT.

Well all is going well. I have a fantastic crew and the producer Alton Walpole has the script. He said he'd slide me between the film he's warping with Christian Slater and the Malkevich flick he is doing next.... damn good company.
You can IMBD Alton and see what he has produced. Some 40 films to his credit.
I finally settled down in ABQ for the moment. A small 50qm space and I actually love it. Don't get me wrong miss our BErlin everyday......
I have been very lucky in the people that are lining up to be a part of this project. I am loving the journey so much.
Just found out that there is a section 181 in the states tax code that allows 100% tax deduction for monies invested in film productions the year the film is made... so cough it up people...
LOL :)
For those of you who do not know what the film is about:
Jack Jordan an ABQ bicycle cop has to confront an evil mutant entity that takes the form of a full body tattoo that lives on young mens bodies. It kidnaps Jack's son and takes him back to Bruning Man in the Nevada desert where it hides in bunkers abandoned by the US military. Jack must go to Burning Man to retrieve his son. What we find out by the end of the film is that Jack and the Death Tattoo have a history and it has been hunting him for the past 10 years. Is it revenge or obession?

That's the basic concept.

My goal is for the film and all my films to give 5 to 10% to their gross to ecological enviromental funds. I myself will be giving up to 40% of my take as well... ( don't panic ABE there looks to be plenty left to invest:)

Painting is going well, yet intrrupted often for the film.

Well spring is here and allerfies abound.

The winds are blowing daily and every other person you meet here is hacking something slimy up, in the back ground the sounds of people honking like geese. WElcome to NM in the spring.

WEll dating a Violist here. Young and head strong Libra. Its fun and feels good. One more down on the road to... wait where am i going anyways?
Life is good with itchy eyes and runny allergy nose but otherwise very good.
The film is slow but coming . I meet with the stunts coridinator next week. Tonight one of the actors and make up lead. Its going along well.
Tomorrow we have Filmapalosa at the studio. 150 filmmakers are gathering in my studio. Its good to be back in the flow.

Well catch a ray of sunshine and have fun above anything else.
